On the 16th of march this year I was involved in a renegade, underground Fashion/catwalk show with 10 other amazing designers and artistes, in a warehouse in 

                  Brunswick..... Milkcrates and cardboard became our runway...

My pieces were inspired by junkfood.... this one...The Queen of the confectionary aisle... Real cookies and biscuits dunked in resin with pink sparkly glitter....Iced Vo-vo's, Jam Fancies, hundreds and thousands and pearls.... So pretty and shiny and delicious.....

 My pieces were inspired by JUNKFOOD! high-fashion wearable art made out of commonly found junkfood!!!!! From the supermarket to the catwalk..... This piece was made with Cornchips!!! Yes...Real cornchips- that I dipped in resin with giant yellow glitter flakes....

The Divine Peacock Feather....

The most popular and delicious Design in my range..... This design came to me while meditating on the intricate and out of this world beauty of the peacocks tail feather- With its bold, outrageous colour, and flowing beautiful lines....I always enjoy creating the peacock feather hat design for my happy customers!!!!

Dragon orchids...

An enchanted patch of dragon flower hairclip/brooches/hatpins to adorn your everything!!! Each dragonscale-like petal is lovingly embroidered with a gorgeous round embroidered pistil (centre-piece).... With feather stamens to complete the magic..... I love creating my dragon orchids.... I am currently working on some funky new baseball caps adorned with a dragonorchid!!!  very fresh!

wonderful whites.....

White is a colour i usually wouldn't play with much.... however- i had one beautiful customer two stunning white pieces- a white peacock feather hat and a white 'dragon orchid' hairclip to be worn to a french-lace-inspired wedding!!! I really enjoyed working with these magical shades of white, cream, nudes, beiges and gold!!! The clear clarity of such a pure colour, and playing around with other colours to create harmoniously designs....

I tea-stained the blindingly white hat felt to create a beautiful vintage ivory colour.....

I am now working on a new range of white hats....Inspired by the late winter blossoms, cherry blossoms fluttering to the ground like snow, quarts crystals and shimmery night-time moths flying under a full moon....
